One PDF From Many Images

PDF is the easiest way to share screenshots, scanned pages, diagrams or receipts as one file that opens the same way on every device. The converter places each PNG on its own page, in the order shown in the list, and saves them all in one PDF.

Page Size Options

  • Same as image: each page is exactly the size of its image, shown at 96 pixels per inch (the size it appears at 100% on screen). Best for screenshots and graphics.
  • A4 or US Letter: standard paper sizes, good for printing. Each image is scaled to fit the page without cropping, and wide images get a landscape page.
  • Margin: add a small (0.25 in) or large (0.5 in) white border around each image.

Image Quality and File Size

Each PNG is embedded with its original pixels and lossless compression, so text and sharp edges in screenshots stay crisp. The PDF is usually about the same size as the PNG files combined. Transparent areas of an image show the white page behind them.

The PDF is created in your browser, so your images are never uploaded. That makes it safe to use for documents you'd rather not send to a third-party server.

Limitations

  • Every image is placed on its own page. To put several images on one page, combine them into one image first.
  • Images aren't converted to searchable text (no OCR).
  • With Same as image, images wider or taller than 19,200 pixels get a smaller page, because most PDF viewers don't support pages over 200 inches. The image itself keeps its full resolution.
  • All images are held in memory while the PDF is built, so very large batches may be slow on phones.
